Welcome to
Knights of Columbus
"In Service to One, In Service to All "
The Knights of Columbus (KOC) is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. Knights of Columbus has grown to more than 12,000 councils and 1.6 million members globally. Volunteerism informed by Christian concern is the hallmark of the KOC. It results in outstanding contributions of time and talent to the Catholic Church, our communities, families, young people and brother Knights. We continue to break all of its previous records for charitable contributions and volunteer service. In the past decade, the Knights have raised and donated nearly $1 billion to numerous charitable causes and volunteered nearly 400 million hours of service. Catholic values are rooted in the strong bonds of family life. The KOC supports these values through family and youth activities. KOC members regularly participate in and sponsor programs aimed at combating substance abuse. Local KOC councils work with police, youth groups and other organizations to conduct educational programs on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. The Knights sponsor poster contests for youth on substance abuse. The KOC sponsored youth group, the Columbian Squires, with more than 20,000 young men help people in need, and enjoy the company of friends in social, family, athletic, cultural, civic and spiritual activities. Squires also participate in programs that publicize the dangers of drunk driving.
