The Links Inc

"Chain of Friendship and Purposful Service"

The Links, Incorporated is a women's service of more than 10,000 women of color, committed to enhancing the quality of life in our communities. Founded in 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Links, Incorporated has 274 chapters in 42 states in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as in Germany, South Africa and the Bahamas. Community outreach is designed to ensure the success of our initiatives. We are dedicated to finding solutions for issues affecting our communities. We are an organization of accomplished, dedicated women who are active in your community. The Links members are role models, mentors, activists and volunteers who work toward the realization of making the name "Links" not only a chain of friendship, but also a chain of purposeful service. Linkages to Life is a national program sponsored by The Links, Incorporated. It is designed to increase organ, tissue and bone marrow donation in the African American community. Our new home on the web is currently under development, but we encourage you to bookmark this page and visit us soon to learn more about The Links, Incorporated and the Links Foundation, Incorporated.
