Welcome to
Moose International
"The Family Fraternity"
An international organization of men and women dedicated to caring for young and old, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life, the Moose organization’s nearly 1.5 million members continuously volunteer their time and talent to make our communities better places to live and to help people in need. Members donate in excess of $90 million a year in community service. The organization also maintains more than 1,800 Moose Centers across the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and Bermuda, providing members with wholesome family social and sports activities. Mooseheart, a residential child-care facility and school located 37 miles outside of Chicago, to care for children whose families are unable to care for them, was founded by the Moose organization in 1913. Funded by Moose members, children at Mooseheart receive the nurturing home and solid education they need to reach their full potential. At Moosehaven in Orange Park, Florida, Moose seniors and their spouses enjoy an active community that provides peace of mind, quality care and continued fellowship during their retirement years. For more than a decade, Moose members have sponsored an International Moose Youth Awareness Program, which organizes high-school age leaders into a highly-effective “speakers bureau” to educate pre-school and elementary school children about the dangers of drug use, gangs, bullying and other issues. Youth from all over North America meet annually at an International Student Congress where they select the top Moose KIDTALK presentations. Winners receive college scholarships ranging from two to seven thousand dollars. To find out more about what Moose members are doing in your community, visit www.mooseintl.org or call 630-966-2213.
