The purpose of the National Beta Club is to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school. The National Beta Club, a student-centered organization, continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership in a global community. The National Beta Club works with the membership of each chapter to develop tomorrow's leaders today. The Beta Club provides many opportunities to learn leadership skills as well as to showcase these skills. The membership of the National Senior Beta Club is composed of students in grades 10 th through 12 th. The Junior Beta Club is composed of students from the fifth grade to ninth grade. With over 7,600 Senior and Junior Beta Clubs in 45 states and 7 territories encompassing over 418,000 members we are a viable growing organization. The Beta Club organization has flourished because it is based on sound principles, and for more than half a century it has had the support of sponsors and school administrators.
