Welcome to
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority International
"A Community Conscious-Action Orientated Organization"
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority's national service programs have evolved to meet the critical societal needs of the time. This administration has identified some key areas of concern. The projects and needs have been consolidated under the banner of Z-HOPE, which stands for Zetas Helping Other People Excel. One significant area of concentration under the Z-HOPE program is healthcare. Z-HOPE responds to the "State of Health in Black America" by creating programs and activities that provide the knowledge of and tools to address the Healthy People 2010 ten leading health indicators: - Physical Activity - Substance abuse- Injury & Violence - Obesity- Responsible Sexual Behavior- Environmental Quality- Access to Health Care- Tobacco Use- Mental Health- Immunization. Education is another major focus of the Z-HOPE program. Because we have so much to pay back in the areas of education, and in keeping with the national campaign to Leave No Child Behind, we too want to do our part to help ensure every child a healthy and a fair start in life. Zeta continues to take a deliberate and in-depth look at ways to keep any child from being left behind academically. Zeta chapters and auxiliary groups have given untotaled hours of voluntary service to educate the public, assist youth, provide scholarships, support organized charities and promote legislation for social and civic change. Over the years since the sorority's inception, Zeta Phi Beta has chartered hundreds of chapters and initiated thousands of women around the world. Zeta continues to thrive and flourish while adapting to the ever-changing needs of a new century.
