Young Life is a non-denominational Christian organization reaching out to teens with programs in more than 800 communities in the United States and Canada and more than 45 countries overseas. More than 100,000 kids are involved in Young Life weekly, with more than 1 million kids participating in Young Life throughout the year. Young Life provides healthy, creative fun and aims to keep kids safe. We hold informal weekly meetings called Young Life clubs. Young Life clubs happen anywhere -- a kid's home, a church, a gym or a neighborhood teen center. For kids who want more, small peer groups called Campaigners meet weekly to study the Bible, pray and talk about the application of their faith. WyldLife is Young Life’s ministry to middle school kids. Teens are encouraged to be part of a local church community, and Young Life partners with churches and parishes who share our vision to reach every kid. Young Life has 24 camping properties across the United States and Canada, where Young Life leaders bring more than 90,000 kids for a weekend during the school year or for a week during the summer. Our vision is to develop ministry for young people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds  who live in high-density communities, such as the inner city. Multicultural & Urban Young Life is active in 176 cities and has become one of the largest urban youth ministries in the United States. Overseeing the work with teens is a group of local parents and professionals who volunteer their time and resources to give valuable assistance in planning, accountability and fundraising.
